Pocketlaw’s Default Attachments automatically include essential materials in template-based documents, streamlining workflows, ensuring compliance, and reducing manual work.
Automatic Attachment Inclusion
Default attachments are pre-added to templates and will be automatically included in any document created from those templates.
To add default attachments:
- Go to the Templates section.
- Click the three dots (…) next to a template and select Manage Default Attachments.
- Upload or select attachments to include as default.
Customizing Attachments in Individual Documents
Once a document is created, attachments can be managed from the Attachments section in the contract dashboard (right-hand side).
- Add new attachments
- Remove or replace default attachments if they are no longer required
Embedding Attachments Within a Contract
Attachments can be directly embedded within a contract during the editing process.
To embed an attachment:
- Open the contract in editing mode.
- Click on the section where you want to embed the attachment.
- Navigate to the Attachments tab in the contract dashboard.
- Click the three dots (…) next to the attachment and select Embed.
External Sharing and Approval
- Attachments can be shared with counterparties via External Sharing.
- Any attachments included in a contract will automatically be sent for approval during the eSigning process.
