Versioning & Redlining Contracts

Take full control of versioning and redlining directly in Pocketlaw.

Take advantage of Pocketlaw's capabilities to easily manage different versions of documents, engage in negotiations with team members or stakeholders, and track changes through redlining. With this level of control, you can streamline collaboration processes and ensure that everyone is on the same page when it comes to document revisions and updates.

To redline a created contract or an uploading one, select the Edit button, that will prompt you to start versioning control. Once you open the editable version, you need to select Editing Suggesting.

Managing Version Control in Pocketlaw

Maintain full control over your document revisions with Pocketlaw’s version control feature. Follow these steps to manage and track document versions efficiently:

1. Access Revision History

  • Navigate to the Revision History section to view and manage all saved versions of your document.
  • Select any version from the history and click Revert to restore it as the current working version. This ensures you can undo changes when needed.

2. Import a Document Version

  • Import a version in DOCX format to integrate external edits or updates into your document’s version history.

3. Download with Redlines and Comments

  • Download any version as a DOCX file that includes redlines and comments, making it easy to review and share edits.

By using version control, you can keep your documents organized, ensure transparency during revisions, and easily collaborate with your team.

Note that versioning and redlining is a feature that needs to be activated by the customers support team. Please email us if you need help.
